This summer the band will present five free performances at various parks throughout the city giving
folks an opportunity to enjoy an evening of wonderful music in their own backyard.

The Albuquerque Concert Band is pleased to offer free concerts of fine band music to the public year-round in the Albuquerque area.
2008 Summer Concert Series
- Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 7:00pm - Burton Park
901 Carlisle SE - From I-25 take Lead/Coal exit east on Coal to Carlisle. Head south on Carlisle to Kathryn. Turn west on Kathryn. Park is on right hand side.
The program will include compositions by James Curnow, Gioachino Rossi, Leroy Anderson, Frank Erickson, Claude T. Smith, Ralph Vaughn Williams, Glenn Osser, and Ashman and Menken.
- Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 7:00pm - Roosevelt Park
500 Spruce Street SE - From I-25 take Lead/Coal exit east on Coal to Sycamore. Head south on Sycamore. Park is on right hand side.
The program will include compositions and arrangements by John Philip Sousa, Warren Barker, David R. Gillingham, Clare Grundman, John Tatgenhorst, James Curnow, and Bob Lowden, and a World Premier Performance of a new compostition by our own Tim Erickson, "On The Bus To Ruidoso".
- Wednesday, July 9 2008, at 7:00pm - Heritage Hills Park
7015 Ventura St NE - From I-25 take San Antonio exit east to Ventura. (San Antonio will become Harper east of Wyoming.) Head north on Ventura approx. 1/2 mile to park entrance on left hand side.
The program will include compositions and arrangements by George M. Cohan, Gioachino Rossini, Johnny Burke and James Van Huesen, George Gershwin, Ferde Grofe, John Higgins, Will Shaefer, Wayne Scott, Bob Lowden, and Leroy Anderson.
- Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at 7:00pm - Montano West Park
5711 Hayes Dr NW - From Coors take Montano west to Cochiti Dr. Head south on Cochiti. Park is on left hand side.
The program will include compositions by James Swearingen, F. Von Suppe, Leonard B. Smith, Hugh Stuart, James Christensen, W. Casey and Jim Jacobs, Aram Khachaturian, Frank Erickson, Clare Grundman, and John Philip Sousa.
- Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at 7:00pm - Academy Hills Park
9709 Layton Ave NE - From Academy take Eubank south to Layton. Head west on Layton to Concordia. Take Concordia north to Admiral Emerson. Take Admiral Emerson east and follow road until park is on right hand side.
